A Nourishing Feminist Leadership Retreat
Do you long for connection, respite, and nourishment? Do you feel pulled by all the work you need to do and so continually deny yourself that support?
This retreat will offer you ways to practice life-affirming leadership that supports systemic transformation. I will support participants to reconnect with your inner wisdom and your commitments so you can better align with how you want to show up in life and work.
We will anchor our time together in principles of Feminist Leadership, which is connected, collaborative, embodied, equitable, and transformative. It can be—needs to be—practiced in all roles. You don’t have to be in formal positions of leadership to lead and support transformation. Whether we have positional power or not, your voice matters.
We can create change through our being, not just our doing.

Bio: Beth Berila, Ph.D. is an Embodied Leadership Coach, Facilitator, and Consultant committed to Social Justice. She supports individuals to live in greater wholeness and alignment; she supports organizations to become more equitable through feminist and embodied practices. Beth is the Director of Gender & Women’s Studies and Professor of Ethnic, Gender & Women’s Studies at St. Cloud State University. Her book, Integrating Mindfulness into Anti-Oppression Pedagogy: Social Justice in Higher Education was published by Routledge in 2015; the second edition is forthcoming in 2023.
